Brisley Bell Development
Posted 24/10/2016 : By: Madeleine Mitchell
The Brisley Bell public house has been derelict for the past two and a half years. The new owners plan to restore the pub to its former glory and to re-establish it as an important destination for the village and its surrounding area. After extensive research and preparation, the owners have endeavoured to develop the pub into a space that accommodates a variety of needs, from drinkers to holidaymakers. The new business will keep its status as an Inn by providing glamping huts seasonally and luxury b&b rooms in the future.
Having received a great deal of support from the local population, the owners intend for the pub to become a community hub and a focal point for the village. The Bell aims to host a number of different events, such as live music, book and play readings and comedy to attract visitors and provide entertainment for the local people.
Funding for this project will specifically support the building of a new restaurant. The extra room will provide increased dining covers for guests and the focus on local, fresh produce and healthy eating options will cater for differing dietary needs. This will enable the business to grow and make the pub more commercially viable in the future.
