Happy Valley secured grant funding in February 2017 to grow the existing glamping business. The applicant applied to create additional tourist accommodation including a treehouse with disabled access and a round house available for community events and wedding receptions. The business also works in harmony with the surrounding villages. Local groups will be encouraged to hire the roundhouse as a retreat space and a place for alternative therapies, offering yoga, meditation, reflexology and massage.
Happy Valley is set in 9 acres of woodland in Grimston, in a Norfolk Wildlife Trust site. The venue is perfect for weddings, parties, getaways, and photoshoots. The site also offers glamping in shepherd’s huts and bell tents.
This business is an example of farm diversification into the growing glamping industry.
