Lambert's Farm Livery

Posted 18/05/2016

Lamberts Livery, Marsham:

The core aim of this project is to efficiently use redundant farm buildings to increase profitability of the holding in order to create employment and initiate a plan for succession of the next generation onto the family farm.

This project will provide livery stabling to bring in diversified income for the farm. The new livery will make use of redundant farm buildings which are no longer usable for arable farming, mainly due to their small scale. One particular building, formerly used for fattening pigs, is ideally suited to conversion into boxes for stabling horses.

The new business will offer stabling for do-it-yourself (D-I-Y) livery for up to 14 horses. This project will create a tack room and rest room facility, construct an outdoor menage, install paddock fencing and field shelters and provide car parking for customers.
